Operating experience
Technical product · AI & cloud · Operations
I turn complex operations into products people can actually use.
I'm Nikhil Meshram—an IIM Lucknow MBA, NITK engineer and operator with 10+ years across mining, manufacturing, entrepreneurship and cross-border logistics.
Today, I build AI-enabled and cloud-backed products that turn messy decisions, fragmented information and difficult workflows into systems that are clearer, faster and easier to operate.

What I bring
Operator depth. Product judgment. Technical execution.
I didn't arrive at product through a purely theoretical path. Years spent running teams, production systems, businesses and cross-border operations revealed that many operating problems are really information, workflow and decision-design problems.
Product
Turn unclear problems into usable systems.
Problem framing · requirements · workflows · prioritisation · information architecture · experimentation · iterationAI & cloud
Use technology where it improves the decision.
Structured evaluation · OCR-assisted input · human-in-the-loop systems · APIs · authentication · cloud servicesOperations
Design for what happens after the prototype works.
Ownership · process design · commercial constraints · reliability · edge cases · real user behaviourSelected work · 01—03
Products that show how I think.
These are not design exercises. Each began with a difficult decision or workflow, then moved through product definition, system design, implementation and iteration.
01 AI learning system
MainsCraft
An AI-powered answer-writing and learning system for serious competitive-exam preparation.
“How do you increase the frequency and quality of feedback without removing the student's or mentor's responsibility for judgment?”
Structured evaluation → specific next practice
02 Data & decision product
PowerCost Lab
Turn electricity consumption into a number people can actually reason about.
“How do you make a technically imperfect estimate useful without presenting uncertainty as fact?”
03 Evidence & risk workflow
AutoProof
Make complicated vehicle paperwork reviewable before money changes hands.
“How can software help someone make a high-stakes decision without pretending it knows more than the evidence supports?”

How I build
Start with the decision, not the interface.
Understand reality
Who is making the decision? What are they actually trying to accomplish—and where does the current process break?
Structure the problem
Separate inputs, evidence, assumptions, states, actions and outcomes before drawing the interface.
Build the smallest credible system
Enough workflow to test the product assumption—not merely enough UI to make a demo.
Test the edges
Find ambiguity, failure states, trust issues, operational friction and the places automation should stop.
Iterate toward a system
The goal is logic that survives contact with real use, not simply a prettier prototype.
Operating experience
The products are new.The judgment behind them isn't.
More than a decade operating businesses and systems under real constraints came before the software. That experience now shapes how I define edge cases, trade-offs, ownership and what “working” actually means.

Technical toolkit
Technical enough to work with the system—not just around it.
I define behavior, inspect architecture, reason through trade-offs and validate what ships.

The next useful problem
Looking for someone who can understand the business problem and go deep enough into the technology to solve it?
I'm focused on Technical Product Management, AI products, cloud-backed SaaS, Product Operations and Digital Transformation—especially where complicated operational workflows, AI and software come together.
